s.o.e.

On February 21, 2014 in Moulmein, lower Burma a man was found dead. Paramedics responded quickly to the scene to remove the corpse. When they arrived witness say that the coolie had been trampled by a wild elephant. Witnesses say the elephant hit the man with his trunk, stepped on him repeatedly and then preceded to grind him into the earth. The man’s named was Yoel Daymon a 27 year old Burma native. Yoel’s wife says that he was just going to the bazaar to get some bread and rice, he was only gone for 20mins before she heard the sirens. Once she stepped outside she saw all the chaos and then started to wonder is her husband okay. Abani realized that the bazaar was torn up and that was were Yoel was going to the bazaar for food. Abani freaks out and runs toward the bazaar and at the exit end of the bazaar there was a crowd. She fought to get through. Once through she dropped to her covered her face and cried and didn’t stop. What she had seen was devastating for any wife to handle especially one that had been married to someone since she was 17. She saw her husband dismantled, bloody, and covered in dirt.

when i was younger my favorite cartoon to watch when i was bored was avatar the last air bender. it was a show about three friends traveling around the world to find benders to teach aing to master the four elements; water, earth, fire, air. on their journey they faced many obstacles such as people trying to kill them, finding a master, and shelter. through all of this they begin to get frustrated lose their composure but aing always stayed calm and kept a level head. aing was always able to calm everyone down so they can think of a full proof plan that always seemed to work.To me the creator of this cartoon was trying to get the audience to learn how to stay calm in a frantic situation.
